Odyssey House has maintained Joint Commission accreditation since 2011. The Joint Commission standards improve patient safety, quality of care, health outcomes, and meet or surpass law and regulation. By maintaining this accreditation, Odyssey’s services rank in the top 8% of behavioral health providers in the nation.
Odyssey House maintains several contracts that require intensive outside monitoring. Not only do we meet their strict requirements, but we have a perfect track record year over year. We are audited at regular intervals by the following agencies:
In November 2015, the University of Utah evaluated Odyssey with the national CPC evaluation. U of U staff looked at Odyssey’s residential and outpatient programming in the following three areas: program leadership and development, staff, and quality assurance. Based on the University’s findings, Odyssey overall ranking as classified as ‘highly effective.’ Out of the 500 programs that have undergone the evaluation nationwide, only 8% rank highly effective.
