Odyssey House offers a number of different treatment programs designed specifically to meet the needs of each client.

 

Healing With Hope:
At Odyssey House, we understand that every client has specific needs that are unique to the individual. Every treatment program is specifically designed to address these needs. In addition, each treatment program includes individual, group and family therapy, medical services, milieu therapy, constructive recreation, social and vocational skills training, psychiatric services and educational training.

Community Structure:
The Community Structure at Odyssey House allows clients to become contributing members of a productive society. This approach to treatment creates a smooth transition when clients leave Odyssey House.

Odyssey House offers a number of different treatment programs designed specifically to meet the needs of each client.

 

Adult Residential Treatment:
Adults requiring residential treatment are given a complete evaluation. An individualized rehabilitation plan is then developed and implemented. Aftercare transitional programs are also available.

 

Adult Outpatient Treatment:
The Adult Outpatient program is for adults 18 and older in need of non-residential treatment. This therapeutic program addresses substance abuse and co-ocurring disorders such as anxiety, depression, mental health issues, self destructive behavior and lack of life skills.

 

Adolescent Residential Treatment:
The Adolescent Residential program focuses on teens ages 14-18. Treatment focuses on substance abuse, emotional behavioral disorders, abuse, and neglect trauma. Adolescents receive an in-depth assessment and an individualized rehabilitation plan.

 

Adolescent Outpatient Treatment:
The Adolescent Outpatient program is for teens ages 13-18. This therapeutic program also addresses substance abuse and co-ocurring disorders such as anxiety, depression, mental health issues, self destructive behavior and lack of life skills.

 

Parents with Dependent Children:
The family programs are directed to addicted mothers and fathers, along with specialized services for their children. Treatment takes place individually and together as a family unit. The program also emphasizes healthy parenting skills.

In addition to developing life skills, clients are also enrolled in the Odyssey Academy. The Academy is an accredited alternative high school in the Salt Lake School District. Adult clients are enrolled in the Vocational Education Pogram where they learn skills such as carpentry, upholstery and other trades that will allow them to leave equippped with the tools to secure a productive career.
